Mi \u00e8 stato chiesto di scrivere dei brevi cenni biografici su G.C. Wells, o almeno riportare ci\u00f2 di cui siamo a conoscenza dai pochi frammenti recuperati dalle terapie in corso. G.C. Wells \u00e8 affetto da una rara forma di amnesia dissociativa, aggravata da uno stato permanente di amnesia anterograda, per cui non ricorda quasi nulla della sua identit\u00e0 e della sua vita passata, e per di pi\u00f9 lui \u00e8 assolutamente incapace di memorizzare nuove informazioni: di fatto, quando il mattino si sveglia, egli non si ricorda chi sia stato il giorno prima, e non riconosce la realt\u00e0 in cui vive. La sua cartella clinica riferisce di un trauma da stress in seguito a un \u201cshock morale\u201d, un blackout cerebrale di natura emozionale, del quale non sono mai state chiarite le cause, poich\u00e9 il paziente \u00e8 stato trovato incosciente su una panchina di Hyde Park a Londra la notte del 28 novembre del 2011, vestito di stracci, e con un biglietto stretto nella mano sinistra in cui era scritto \u201cEnjoy him. G.C. Wells\u201d.<\/p><p>Non pare abbia famiglia perch\u00e9 nessuno ne ha denunciato la scomparsa, e da quel momento vive in una casa di cura specializzata che mi \u00e8 stato chiesto di non rivelare. Le uniche persone con le quali G.C. Wells ha relazione sociale, oltre il personale sanitario, sono i membri della band Escape to the Roof, di cui per\u00f2 non pu\u00f2 avere memoria a causa del suo stato clinico.<\/p><p>Di lui sappiamo che probabilmente non \u00e8 inglese di nascita, che ha viaggiato molto, in ogni parte del mondo, che suona diversi strumenti musicali, e canta come se l\u2019avesse sempre fatto, ma anche di questi fatti, la memoria \u00e8 frammentaria tanto da non riuscire a ricostruire in maniera esaustiva la sua biografia antecedente allo shock cerebrale.<\/p><p>Per tutto questo, mi \u00e8 stato chiesto di tenere un diario delle terapie cliniche, tramite delle registrazioni audio, che saranno riordinate al fine di riferirne attraverso il blog della band, di fatto la sua attuale famiglia.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Mi chiamo Josh Boltzmann, sono un neurologo.
